Hi YMMV First, thank you for your message and accurate book information. It seems that the book is not available anywhere, at least not from Amazon's European offices. I could not find it elsewhere either. I will keep an eye on the situation...

YMMV reacted to David Tallan's post in the thread How Much Should You Budget Per Day? with Like Like.
I would budget 50 euros a day. More if you plan on regularly staying in private rooms. You may very well find it costs less. But better to overestimate.

Hi, yes, I was leading a group of 14 people when I got a whatsapp one morning, from our next overnight accommodation . . . his young daughter had been killed in a car accident after school the previous evening, and he couldn’t accommodate us that...

YMMV reacted to David Tallan's post in the thread Camino Bibliography with Like Like.
For what it's worth, I've compiled a bibliography of something over 200 Camino-related books in English (either originally or in translation). You can find it in the Resources section...

YMMV replied to the thread Via jacobi & Via Gebennensis.
I will be starting at Le Puy (Vía Podiensis/GR-65) route in mid-August, however I had been considering the via Gebennensis, an extension of the GR-65). The following guide book was recommended to me by someone who walked it a couple of years...

YMMV reacted to C clearly's post in the thread Puffy or Down Jacket with Like Like.
It depends on what other layers you take. Many people do like to include a lightweight puffy jacket that can be combined with a rain/wind shell or other layers, or worn on a cool evening, or even worn inside a light weight sleeping bag if needed...

YMMV reacted to JJinWI's post in the thread 4th Camino Experience (with some photos) with Like Like.
In 2018, I completed my first Camino de Santiago. Those 34 days were magical, filled with stunning landscapes and connections with fellow pilgrims from around the world. What was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure turned into a recurring...

YMMV reacted to Pafayac's post in the thread Unexpected: booked out gîtes on Le Puy with Like Like.
It is sad to think people is booking so in advance, but I am afraid that rumours of overcrowding push pilgrims to book in advance. @veganessa: yes the busiest part of Podiensis is Le Puy-Conques. After Conques, you will meet less people, and...

Yes indeed it is, but in July a light rain clothe should be sufficient. I do not understand what you mean exactly by "secular". Grand Séminaire Accueil St Georges is not exactly "secular" because it is ran by religious. But you will not asked...
