I think I missed it because the "Days" option doesn't appear until after I selected the town to the itinerary, I just didn't see a new field appear.
This seems like it is going to be a great tool, I pretty much did this, very manually, with a spreadsheet, gronze, and the WisePilgrim app.

I second everybody else telling you to try a bunch of different shoes, see what works for your feet.
I did the camino in Merrill Moab II hiking shoes. My wife wore Hoka Speedgoat trail runners both worked for us.
Merrell Moabs are well liked. I'm on my second pair. REI in the US has some women's versions on clearance at 40% off right now. Is REI shoppable from Canada?
Edit: Sorry, only this version is clearance and it is waterproof...
