Alex, I am so glad for you that you do not have Parkinsons. I'm watching my sister, who is 74, progressively succumb to this horrible condition. It's robbed her of her dignity, her mobility, her interests, everything. And it is starting to rob...

I personally would never trust a magnetic thingy to hold my pole/s. I would constantly be thinking about them and trying to be extra careful to not jostle them in unusual terrain, lest they would fall off...apparently it does happen.

You lucky dad to walk not once but twice with your daughter. You sure ain't dead yet and we will both celebrate 71 with another camino. We can't kick the bucket yet we still have to meet one day on some camino somewhere 😊
