My wife and I were "gently" inspired to walk the French way after watching the movie "The Way" somewhere around 2020.
I was retiring in 2022, and we thought what a great way to start a retirement. I also knew I would be walking that path alone, as she was in the very late stages of metastatic breast cancer, and while she had worked miracles being in great health for 16 years? It was not to be. So, she walks with me on this path just not the way I would have preferred.
See where it leads. If you read this? Don't lead with "Sorry"... it was hands down the best 20+ years of my life. nothing to be sorry about at all... best time ever... and hope to celebrate that as I go along (easier said than done, but working it)

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do.
