True. But that wasn't/isn't always a blessing. I have sometimes added a few km to my day to put some distance between myself and an overly-demanding and intrusive specimen.

I made a decision, and flights are now booked to walk the Via Bayonne/Vasco interior this coming May, Lord willing and health permitting.

A few of the Forum members have known about my condition for some time. In Feb. 2024 I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. I was registered in the national Parkinson registry. A miserable death was awaiting as my future. No more Caminos. I...
