Nice to hear that some routes have proper accommodations. In June I walked from Lübeck to Eisenach, Via Scandinavica that is, can't say the same. In two weeks three nights in church spaces, otherwise a bit more expensive ones. Wonderful people... -

A VPN will allow you to set a virtual location which makes your computer appear to be in that country. Setting the location to Germany (in this case) allows you to access content that is only made available in the virtual location you have... -

I was able to see it using a VPN set to Germany. There were technical issues which might have arisen anywhere from my local ISP through to the content provider, and I didn't get past the first minute or so.

That sounds amazing! If you decide to do it, and with a mid-April start, maybe I'll see you along the way - I'm only going as far as SJPDP, but would continue along the Norte if I had the time, I've been longing to go back... Buen Camino!
