NJust saying, my biggest regret from my first crossing SJPDP to Roncesvalles was not spending more time in those beautiful mountains... so the second time i stayed in Orisson. Hence the recomendation. Hope you'll have good weather, it's a stunning...

NIf he/she is a good walker, I'd say it can be fine to start at that time. 7h to Burguete is not out of this world.

NI would be very surprised if Express Bourricot does not fill, or almost fill their van for that date in May. And as you know, each passenger must have an advance reservation via email, so they will need to contact EB themselves...

NFlight booked to Biarritz 14th May arriving 1835, just trying to sort transport to SJPP as too late for bus and trains. Intacted Express Bourricot and they can take me for 140 euro. If 3 others are on that Paris flight 1705 the the price...
