You might try a hotel that has a reception desk that is going to be staffed when you pass through. I would expect that the major chain hotels would have someone at reception until later in the evening. Smaller hotels might not, or have a night...
Or probably some bar/restaurant where you could purchse something for your walk ahead. If you buy anything, bar staff are usually very happy to stamp your credential!
