Good choice. I stayed in Baztan on my first Camino in 2019, and again last September, enjoyed both times. To my surprise I recognized the hospitalero from my 2019 stay! Bathrooms were roomy and clean, they served a good evening dinner and...

Thank you! I managed to have a short conversation with the host and I've provided my name to secure a room (hopefully) for June. So so glad that I've managed to have all my accomodation more or less settled as I noticed some places like...

B dias = Buenos días (shortened!) So they are saying (and I'm adding the punctuation, as i think this is what is meant) Buenos días - sí, es posible (= hello - yes, it's possible). I've had responses like this and they have meant that yes, they...

Contacted Baztan today, I don't speak Spanish so I asked in English (how to make a reservation for June) and they replied in a few hours. However the reply was 'B dias si es posible', I entered that into Google translate and did not get anything...

Ditto, I too have stayed there twice, and I found it to be clean, comfortable and had good food. I recommend it. I generally ignore reviews of albergues, especially any albergue that costs less than twenty or so dollars a night. I mean c'mon...

I stayed in Albergue Casa Baztan in September 2023 — the place had a funky old school vibe, including metal bunks, a small chapel, back garden and a great host. Dinner was plentiful. I’d stay there again. Buen camino!

I've stayed here twice and it was fine. Ignore the reviews. Some people are never happy  https://www.gronze.com/navarra/uterga/albergue-camino-perdon

Hostel del Perdon, along with 4 other hostels and hotels along the way, cancelled and refunded my Booking.com reservations on my ill fated 1 day camino in 2022. I actually called them from the top of Alto de Perdon and cancelled and they let me...

Another half an hour walking takes you to Muruzabal where there is a handy place. Easy to go on from there via Eunate without having to retrace steps. The Perdon albergue in Uterga was totally fine for me. edit: when possible, if possible - book...

Ah yes I remember such pilgrim in the years before we in most of Europe had general roaming for mobile phones. Not that I imply the OP would do the same but that particular pilgrim would ask numerous pilgrims to help him out. He once asked to...
