I stayed at YHA in Le Puy. Didn't prebook. I bought the credential at the book shop at the cathedral with the Miam dodo book. I caught the train and bus from Lyon to Le Puy. Didn't prebook. I booked one day ahead either at the tourist office...

We hiked the Camino Frances in 2018, just before Covid ruined everyones plans. I biked it in 2001. And now we’re back… “Older now, but still running against the wind” We are going to be walking the sections we missed. Le Puy to SJPD in sections...

[photo from last year] Here's the full color image projected on the Tympanum. There's also a blue and white image. The show projects portions of the appropriate image to highlight sections of the carvings. It's well done. I will see it again...

I saw the light show in Conques as well. Unfortunately, the Priest was giving the talk in French and could not understand etc. None the less, very impressive. @Camino Chrissy I mentioned this in another post as well, and sorry to disappoint, but...
