It’s not just about “doing” the Camino. To my mind it’s about “experiencing “ this pilgrim route people have been walking for over one thousand years. There are so many really interesting and historic places so my view is to aim for 40-42 days... -

I walked SJPdP to SdC at age 64 in a very comfortable 35 days of walking. I took a day off in both Burgos and Leon, not because I needed rest days, but because they were interesting places to explore. The cathedrals, Museum of Human Evolution...
