Mike thank you for your many likes on my photos.
This was taken just a few kilometres before San Pedro de Rozandos. This pig farm is a well know landmark and I believe the owner is pilgrim friendly, I think he makes a water source available to pilgrims. The pigs were resting in the shade of a large metal object that looked like a food or rubbish container. I cropped the top of the photograph because the large rusty metal object would have spoiled the shot. I took it from the track using the nikon d80 with a fairly standard all purpose zoom 18-135, I carry only one lens.
Next big trip is the Levente staring in mid April (all going well). Will carry the nikon on that trip and I hope to buy a smartphone and I may use the smartphone to take images as I walk and maybe upload four or 5 images a week directly to my blog. While still shooting with main camera and edit these when I get home.
