The Virgen de la Barca sanctuary in Muxia was destroyed by a fire started by lightning on 25 December 2013. It has been fully reconstructed by now. The picture of the interior was taken on Good Friday 25th of March 2016.

The Virgen de la Barca sanctuary in Muxia was destroyed by a fire started by lightning on 25 December 2013. It has been fully reconstructed by now. The picture of the church was taken on Good Friday 25th of March 2016. Please note the fire extinguisher within the reach of the Virgin Mary's arm.
