For those of us who travelled the Camino in late Autumn (Fall!) its hard to imagine Nth Spain can be so green. Was this taken near the Cruce or just west of Monjardin??
@Saint Mike II Mike, we did the walk in Spring - April & May - and all of Northern Spain was green like the photo. Lots of newly planted crops. Or yellow considering the large numbers of canola fields that were being cultivated. I'll have to check re the location of where I took the photo. I didn't make notes of my shots (100's). Just point and shoot.
I took some 3000 pictures and my son took over 4000 we didn't have time to do much recording of where we took them but most we can figure out although some have got me a bit confused but that maybe just be the fault of my age I love the color in you photos they look so beautiful
@Saint Mike II Hi Mike, this was taken after Villamajor de Monjardin and after the the Cafe Movi (the van on the side of the path with outside seating).
@Georgina77 I admit that age is my excuse too. I wouldn't rely on my memory of the details of each day on the walk - too many place names to remember over the course of 40 or so days!!
