House plants

These plants, seen all over Santiago de Compostela, seed themselves on building walls.
I have seen examples of this all across Spain. Maybe they don't consider it necessary to clean out the guttering on occasions. I recall a church in Salamanca that had a small shrub/tree (almost a metre high) growing in the gutters or slate roof. Cheers
