Granon, one of the top three Albergues

I wrote them in my comments?

#2 Albergue Santa Fe, because it was the cleanest, nicest host, overall satisfaction PRIVATE albergue
#1 Peacable Kingdom in Moratinos

Man, I needed Granon. I had put in two "double stage" days in a row going from Estella to Viana and then Viana to Najera. (I was under a time crunch and am looking forward to doing a Camino where I have all the time in the world) I left Najera around 5:00 am and got to Granon around 11:15 or so. I sat down in a restaurant right across the street from the church and had an enjoyable meal and a few beers. I needed that "rest" day and it propelled me forward. My legs were strong from then on out...the feet got a lot of sore around 30km mark the rest of the day. But Granon will always have a special place in my heart.

El Acebo???? The alburgue at the end of the village was the finest one on the entire Camino (it was quite new when I arrived in July 2017)

I would also add to the list of great places on the Camino Frances - the donativo albergue’s at Zabaldika and at Bercianos del real Camino .
