Feb 28 2019, Entering El Bierzo past Manjarín. The downhill fun is about to begin!
You realise it's time to walk another route, when each 80% of the time you see a photo from the Frances, you know without looking at the description; where it was taken, within about 100 metres :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I love that section, the view, the flowers. Just not the bit from El Acebo down to the bottom!
 
Total agreement! I'm still on the fence of returning to see an old friend and see what it looks like at that moment or to explore! Both?
 
I have to agree with Robo - the view from the top of the mountain (just west of Cruz de Ferro) is one of the most recognisable on the Camino Frances. Still its a good photo showing that there "are" more mountains to climb.
