Hola@HalfDome - my guess is its an 18' Degree super wide angle lense. A Fish-eye would be more circular. Yes a great shot, but I want to know what those white tents in front of the Cathedral steps are!!??
 
It's actually a composite of a handful of portrait shots stitched together from a wide angle lens. Handheld, rather than using a tripod to avoid parallax. Some distortion was fixed in post but what is left I kind of find groovy.

@Saint Mike II, a couple of days before some graffiti was spray painted on one of the walls. The covering changed over the days from just a cover to what I assume was a controlled and private area for removal/cleaning.
