Nice photo - I wish it had been green for me instead of dry, hot and brown. Still, a pilgrim can't complain.
 
So beautiful an awesome to see this again..... So many wonderful memories. I think this is making the Camino call me again.....
 
In fact I did start on May 1 2017. Only on my first full day on Meseta in rained and rained. We started out from Rabe de las Calzadas in light to moderate showers, but at the top of Mule Killer hill it became heavier. In the bar/cafe in Hornillos the rain was so heavy we spent and extra 15-20mins in the bar. Luckily it did ease by San Bol, but then the wind came up. We were very glad to reach our albergue in Hontanas.
