Beautiful picture, Dennis, and great to 'see' you again. We met last year on the Camino. I will never forget your advice about the 'turtle' situation when using the bathroom on the trail! I will be bringing a group of ladies next year at the end of April. Maybe we'll run into each other again. Buen Camino, my friend.

@Unleash Your Joy! Hello, its so nice to hear from you and thanks for the kind words. I started in SJPdP on the 19th. I am leaving Viana in a few moments.

This year I discovered that there seems to have been a lot of work done on the trails. Much easier walking so far.

I hope that you and your group have a wonderful Camino.

Love this place but no idea how to pronounce it. Anyone know, phonetically?

@Sue M - I was lucky to be able to spell it correctly. The other village that has a mystery pronunciation for me is Zariquiegui. I tried to google a site that would pronounce these words for me but was not successful.

As have many, I took essentially the same picture in 2014. I wonder how many pilgrims have taken the same photograph - must be in the millions

I was very surprised to find a similar photograph in the stage 5 section of the Brierley Camino Guide Book a couple of years after I took this photograph.

I wish that there would have been some clouds that day.
