Fortunately the weather in Navarra has started to warm and the snow in Ilarratz has started to melt. Seen here the Abbey of Eskirotz and Ilarratz last week.

It was my joy to visit The Abbey / La Abadia on 7th May, 2015 and meet you in person, Neill, and be shown the features of this holy place originally dedicated to St. Lucy in the year 1150. I would encourage every pilgrim to read about the Abbey at https://www.facebook.com/theabbey.es/info/?tab=page_info and to feel moved to contribute to the restoration of this site via https://www.gofundme.com/theabbey-es or to bring a donation and stop in when you walk between Zubiri and Larrasoaña near the rural hamlets of Ilarratz and Eskirotz.
