After the Bridge - Hospital del Orbigo

I remember crashing onto the bench. I was so exhausted from the heat. It was such a treat to be able to relax under those trees, though. The locals call it Platano. Well, I asked one local caballero:)

They crop the trees in the autumn/winter. They then get regrowth with lots of leaves for shade next year.

Off to the left of this picture is a fountain I believe. I cooled my hot feet in it. It was continuous running water and not recycled so my feet didn't cause any drinking problems ha ha. I think I picked up a sello from the church on the right as well. Lovely lady supervising in there to.

My last visit was during the Jousting Festival which is a mix of Celtic and Spanish traditions. I stayed an extra day just to take in all of the activities and the roasted pigs done spits around town.
