Wow! pants fleece/coats. Pretty hot today a days walk west of puente de Reyna ( spelling).

Is the bakers just round the corner on the left? Bought some amazing bread from one place.

@Lynda t - I don't remember stopping at the bakery, so I can't confirm or deny that there was one around the corner. It was a cold and a very windy day and I was just happy to be at the end of the walk for the day. The Meseta is a wild animal. I got to enjoy a very windy day, followed by two days of rain and another day of walking in the mud. Then the weather for the rest of the Camino was perfect.

Never thought of the Meseta as a wild animal! Wild at times, yes. Lonely at times yes. But always Meseta, which is why I love it! :)

Walk soft and stay safe.

The Malingerer.

I never thought of the Meseta as lonely at times but always the Meseta. Since I am a card carrying Caminoholic I can admit that I am addicted to the Camino and proud of it. .If your feet can make it the rest of you will follow.

You stay safe as well.

Buen Camino
