The temperature drops with altitude and the wind increases. Early May 2013. Approaching Hontanas.

During April-May and Sept.-Oct. Caminos I was happy to have a toque (knitted cap) and light gloves.

I often think the younger women would be wise to wear less form fitting wear in order to better conserve body heat.

@paul.ferris I have great long underwear and tights that work well for me, although I will often put a pair of synthetic fabric pants over the top. Are you referring to these women's tights?
