my first visit was in 2002 . I have been there many times , perhaps 50 or even 100. The highlight of my day. The food was not the best ever , but the price , the ambiance , the location .... no wonder there was always a huge queue of locals. the noise inside was astronomical. my No 1 restaurant in the world.

Exsactly - that's why I planned (and looked forward to) a visit for my little celebration right there. And - as you mentioned - a lot of the locals make the atmosphere special.
