Wow - does this bring back memories. Its the railway line crossing just east of Astorga. I had to wheel my bike up and down. Yes I know I probably could have ridden down - but had already given the brakes more than a little testing. It was a great view of the town and the mountains to the West.

Ah my old nemesis, the green monster. Not to be confused with the iconic wall at Fenway Park, but probably just as tall (37'2"). After a long day I was ready for that bed & meal, and only the green monster stood between me and my vino tinto.
After a long battle I won. Huzzah!
