Boots on the "mojon"

It's not seldom that I see "mojones" with boots tied on them; and more often than not they are in actual good condition. Most times however I leave them there for some pilgrim to take advantage of them; just once, some years ago, did I keep a pair for myself :-) This was just outside Cirauqui.
