1,000 or so young pilgrims and their supporters, from Madrid arriving en mass in Santiago after walking 220KMs or so of the Camino Del Norte. Wise move as the Camino Francaise would have collapsed with this number of pilgrims passing along its narrow walkway

This is a group of 1,000 or so Spanish teenagers from the Dioceses of Madrid waking the last 41KM of their 220KM (I think) Camino Del Norte, with the Bishop of Madrid .... amazing sight, especially when they entered Praza do Obradoiro in full song, swamping out every other group present .....

@Stephen .... they were accompamied by a moving circus of support vehicles, tents, canteen and toiletory facilities .... very slick operation and the kids were amazingly chilled and relaxed .... a sight to behold .....

It's amazing how "chilled and relaxed" kids are when they get enough exercise. Good for the group, good for the kids. What an amazing project. I would have stayed well out of their way.
