Via Lusitana....

Has anyone any comments on this inland way from the south of Portugal, from Faro i believe. Its written about in German pilger guides.

I don't know anything from first-hand knowledge, but I have been told that there is nothing south of Lisbon that is marked.

I was thinking more of a personal comment from someone.

It is a well walked camino, as the Germans have a book on it. But they are always ahead of the game in areas concerning any kind of travel. But I dont read German!

Thanks Per; I heard also that the way was not 'developed' with refugios etc. Thanks SD for your usual excellent info.

It may be that no-one here has walked this way. It seems that few have, anywhere. Tho' as I say the Germans have a book on it. I was alerted to this by a friend of the writer of the German guide recently.
