I've written a reflection and report on my pilgrimage along the Cistercian Way which I have posted here:

https://pilgrimpace.wordpress.com/2...way-on-becoming-a-more-broken-pilgrim-part-1/

It will be in three or four parts as it is too long for one blog post. The rest will appear over the next few days. I'm happy to send people the full document if they would like it.

It's an epic route that I thoroughly recommend. Very different to Spanish Caminos (I'll post about this in the final part) and something I have much unfinished business with!

Buen Camino!

Hi Andy we are in the same job and I used to have an ex Cistercian Church in N Ireland, part of a monastic settlement and Abbey, there would be a great monastic trail /camino to be planned round Strangford Lough where there are sites/remains of monastic settlements and abbeys from the 6th century onwards. You have given me food for thought.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Thanks! Maddy Gray and the team in Wales who came up with the Cistercian Way would be well worth talking to if you take this further

Buen Camino!
