Several alone and with children
I am reading through my Le Puy blog, that I did five years ago with five of my six kids. My oldest daughter was 11 for this trip and it appears it will be just she and I making this trip. I'm trying to talk my daughter who was 9 at the time into joining us but she has a few reasons for wanting to stay home...I will embrace this time with my oldest daughter as we don't get much alone time and she is now 16 and a wonderful young lady.
Back then this was my entry that day.
I am looking for a gite, that I never laid eyes on and know nothing about in appearance or location BUT I think it was in Estrets, as we stayed the night in a tee pee that night further along. The gite is owned by a marvelous couple Gladis and Michel and if I remember correctly their card or symbol was a snail, a cartoonish drawing of a snail.
Can anyone help me?
Does it ring a bell?
This couple is LOVELY and we would love to stay with them.
Thank you in advance,
Neve

So an update!!!!! I just called their gite!!!! A WONDERFUL man answered and it ends up he bought the gite just two weeks ago!!!! Gladis and Michel sold the gite to him, and have dreams of moving on this side of the Atlantic Ocean we live on! I'm determined to hunt them down because they shared they wanted to hear bluegrass in North Carolina, and in my post of this day is one of the neatest coincidences for me. Eric sounded lovely and by tomorrow we should know what dates we will be rolling into his gite and will stay the night. I can tell that they left their gite in wonderful hands!
Thank you all for helping me!

I'm starting the Le Puy in early July hopefully. In my efforts to communicate with the gite owners, I am using email as my French is almost non existent. I'm getting lots of replies outlining...
I am trying to find a Mobile App that can help me find trails from Le puy Valley to Cahors. Would appreciate good advice and guidance.
Sorry I have been too tired to post anything. Here is a very brief summary and a few pics. Le Puy to Figeac - 250 km approx - 14 days - average 17.8 km per day (top speed for me 😂) Beautiful...
