Foot doctor outside Ponferrada

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
A few years ago I saw a retired(?) medic(?) on the east side of Ponferrada who was giving foot massages and treating pilgrims' blisters, etc. Does anyone else remember him? What was his name?
Could this have been @David (from this forum) ? Who regularly spent time at different points on the camino to help pilgrims. He at times had his caravan with him and also a friend @JennyH94 assisted him for a small break on one occasion.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Hi Peter -

Further to Annie’s post, I don’t think it was David, however, I’ll get in touch with him to ask accordingly. David has traditionally carried out the first aid and pilgrim support missions at the beginning stages of the CF, also the Meseta, where the need can be great.

I was fortunate enough to accompany him on one occasion, where he helped many, many pilgrims.

I hope that you find out the name of the person near Ponferrada and send you my best wishes -

Cheers from Oz -
Jenny

Hi, David, it may well have been you! It was c2013. I only stopped to watch and didn't get close enough to distinguish between massages and burst blisters!
Thank you for what you do.
