You might look at smaller villages or “out of town” Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter will be the busiest. Someplaces practice Holy Week and Easter week. Trying to book rooms will expose crowding.Hello all,
I'm leaving Porto on March 20 and will be a slow stroller. i.e. approx 15km a day.
I noticed I'll be walking all through the easter period and am concerned about getting accommodation during that time.

You are right to be concerned. When did you notice that it was Easter?Hello all,

Be prepared to go over budget. The smaller family run places in rural situations tend to be full of family at Easter. Everyone goes home to mum or grandma. Spend some time now on Gronze, WisePilgrim and the ilk. Work out where you’ll be and book yourself a bed. Or take a sleeping bag and trust to the humours of the godsHello all,
