Arles route and introduction

Hi, I've cycled, with a friend from Le Puy to St Jean Pied de Port and on my own to Santiago, and now i want to be a "proper" pilgrim and walk! Last spring I walked, partly with a friend, from Arles to Joncels and this April i hope to continue to Castres. I am 60 so my maximum each day is 15 miles and i see that my journey from Joncels will require that. My friend is older and cannot do this so I am wondering if anyone else is considering walking that route - or if anyone can give me advice - or if I can give anyone else advice about the stretch I've done. I am itching to get back on the road!
