Hi I will be walking the Camino in May for 7-10 days. Want to do 75 miles and end in Santiago. I would rather flatter terrain. Suggestion as to where to start? 1st time. Walking with a friend.
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
Many of the traditional starting points like Tui, Sarria, Baamonde and Ourense are already over the minimum 100 km distance required to get a Compostela. Getting flatter terrain will be more difficult in the undulating terrain of Galicia. Most routes will regularly cross from one river valley into the next, or if along the coast, cross the headlands between port towns. If you are stuck on doing a minimum of 120 km, then some places like Valenca could be a start point. Local buses might be available to do that, or you could get a taxi to the start point you choose.
