    Food along the Camino

    I have not encountered this restriction. I always have food with me and just keep it in a small plastic container or ziplock bag in my backpack. Buen Camino!

    Not a Camino food as such, but the only time I ate it was on the Camino. I miss those fantastic Dutch pancakes from Juntos Alberque in Boadilla. I got mine with Nutella. Some pilgrims got them to go to eat later in the day. Delicious!

    I was on the Frances from SJPP to Santiago in May-June. Every alberque I stayed in provided pillows. Most also provide pillowcases, sometimes the "paper" type.

    I drag a photo out of my photo album (MacBook Pro) to the desktop. Then I click on the insert images icon. I drag and drop the photo in. I do not get the options a) Insert thumbnail and b) Full image.

    My favorite place to walk - in my beautiful Kentucky. I almost feel as though I am on the Camino when I take this hike.

    Lent on the Camino - what would you give up?

    I would give up being anxious about the distance I walked that day...some days that was a bit of an obsession. I would give up those yummy Spanish breakfast pastries for a more nutritious breakfast. I would try to trust more in God's Providence leading and guiding my journey on and off the Camino.
