Looking for advice on long (Spanish) Camino routes

Thanks for the ideas, I will have a look at the map. I'm not sure how I'd feel about the lack of company over so long, I don't socialise a lot at home so might be okay, but thanks for the heads up. Why Lisbon / Faro, basically to see more of the country. The is disappointing to hear about the...

Looking for advice on long (Spanish) Camino routes

Thank you @lindam, @Rick of Rick and Peg, and @lt56ny for the advice/suggestions. I've just started digging into them. I hadn't considered starting in France as my French is worse than my Spanish (and thats non-existant, but I've started learning in), but I'll dig into it and see.

    English Cinema in Santiago?

Thank you everyone! It will be nice to have an evening/afternoons entertainment where I can just switch off. Not quite made it, in Palas de Rei eating dinner and escaping a thunderstorm. I’m due to arrive on the 8th in Santiago, it could be the 7th but I promised someone I’d walk in with them...

    English Cinema in Santiago?

Is there by any chance a cinema in Santiago that shows movies in the original language? Would quite like to see a couple of movies if they’re on.

    Transport to Lisbon

Thanks for this thread. I am quite seriously looking to do Lisbon to Santiago (probably coastal route to keep temp down) when I finish the Camino Frances in a few days, but wasn’t sure how best to get to Lisbon. The answers are perfect!

LIVE from the Camino My Trip along the Camino Frances

Day 15 - can’t think of a subtitle yet Santo Domingo to Belorado People started getting ready at 4:50 today, and there was a steady stream until 6am of people coming in & out … which with my bed right beside the door got a little tiring/annoying. Started the walk around 7am with Erica, Benny...
