Women’s 100% merino long sleeve back at Costco
$18.99! I have 5 of these from about 10 years ago when they were $3 or $4 cheaper. - I’ve worn, machine washed & dried low heat many, many times and only one developed a small hole. They do shrink a bit if you dry for too long. This one seems fairly generously sized.- MartaM

Checking your backpack on flights
Thought I’d share our solution since I spent way too much time thinking about this. Our 36 liter Osprey packs measured too large for carry-on with Lufthansa and I didn’t really want to carry them through the airport to a connecting flight. Altra Timp 2 on sale
If you’re a fan of this Altra model in USA, REI has discontinued and is selling them for $99, thats $40 off. reviews say they run narrower than Lone Peak, but they’re perfect for my feet. Uppers look almost new but sole is quite worn after 1 year of ~20 miles/week.- MartaM
