    Why no Stations of Cross in Churches?

    I was asked by an Irish Teacher as to why he found no stations of the cross in churches on his present camino. I have to say I can't remember seeing any walking from St. Jean... Think they were in Pamplona Cathedral. Maybe wayside crosses are more the spanish tradition? Just an idle query...
