Yes, I was the only pilgrim in Almagem back in 2017. The next stage, starting at 7am in Sept was absolutely lovely. Long, but lovely. There were no pilgrims on that walk for the next 8 days. I credit my "camino angel" for getting me through that section before I got on the Sanabres.

Just left Roncesvalles today May 25 for Zubiri. Very clean, new design (4 to a space), efficient, a bit brusque. Bad internet, you have to gonto Cafe Sabrina for any access.

Planning to star to Orisson on Sunday, May 24. Walking alone for my 60th bday. My partner and I walked the Ingles in 2012. This one seems so different. I hear it is more crowded than last year. Well, we walk together and alone.
